We know how difficult it can be to drift off some days and for your mind to shut off for the night, but we have collected our 5 essential playlists to relax and help you to get a better night’s sleep.
1. Sound Waves
Playlist name: Sleep Inducing Sound Waves
Created by: Spotify (various artists)

When the brain is exposed to beats that create low-frequency tones in the brain, this creates shifts in your brainwaves. This can result in slower frequency brainwaves that promote deeper states of relaxation. This makes this playlist perfect for relaxing before you fall asleep and disconnecting from your day.
2. Binaural
Playlist name: Binaural Beats
Created by: Binaural Beats

Similarly, to the previous sound waves playlist, the concept is that when the brain is exposed to two different frequencies at the same time, a different one in each ear, the brain turns this into a single tone that is the difference between the two frequencies. Your brain can ‘tune’ to the new frequency.
You need to listen to this playlist using headphones, whilst in each ear, there will be a sound at a slightly different frequency and when the two frequencies are merged, your brain will absorb it as a low frequency sound, that helps you to relax and sleep.
3. Rain
Playlist name: Soft and Quiet Rain
Created by: ASMR Rain Recordings

The sound of gentle rainfall helps to make us feel sleepy or lazy as it creates white noise. It’s not enough to over-stimulate the brain, but it minimises how much outside noise we can hear, supressing our sense and making us feel more tired.
